Just wondering who over did it last night on New Years? Anyone end up praying to the Porcelain Gods?

Or simply what did you all end up doing? We watched TV...pretty boring over here. However, we did not have to deal with the idiots on the roads...

We had a nice bottle of Champagne and I drank a good part of it....but not too much. Champagne usually gives me a headache but this stuff was good. One of my suppliers gave me a bottle and they didn't go cheap.

wow i wish i had partied that much, o w8 i did. i spent the nite w/ my gf watching movies and tv. it was fun but it wasnt a huge party. o well there were a ton of idoits out on the roads where i live 2. i avoided them at all cost.

Well, I spent about as much time on the road with the drunks as humanly possible. I took a 30 minute drive to play Bunco with people I know from my church. Then, I left for home at about 9:00. Then i went to see my girlfriend who was hanging out with her friend who came out from her college in Arizona. I did alot of driving last night. But no partying.

I missed the party I was supposed to go to,I got snowed in.There was about 6 inches of thick thick snow =/..I was looking forward to getting wasted 8D..Oh well Atleast Mari,Licia,And Garri got frigged up bad last night together =x.

Played Guild Wars, watched TV, played PS2.... went out to shopping. At night time, some idiots around the block light off bunch of fireworks... Things keep on going and going for about 1 hours past midnight on New Years Eve.

i went pyro and shot off fireworks. (here in utah, 90% of what i shot was illegal. stupid legislature.) other than that, i am definately not a party animal.

we watched some tv.
and when i went out to drive my granny home, i dodged fireworks aimed at my car.
and i fought the urge to get out and prod some fireworkmorons buttocks.

This is for the people that actually wait 12 months so they can light a fuse and hear something go bang, paying hundreds of dollars or euro's to do it:

I can't stand to have fireworks shot at me while driving...or at anytime actually. That is simply childish. I will chase them down and implant my Buick Logo on their buttocks...

Fireworks are a part of New Years though. I don't have a problem with fireworks IF they do not go on & on... What drives me nuts are those monster bricks of firecrackers. Good Lord they are annoying, and they go on for like 10 minutes per brick. Mortars, Skyrockets,BuzzBombs, etc are kinda nifty to watch....firecrackers...err...no!

We rent a cottage on Lake Huron(one of the Great Lakes). We rent this nice little 2 bedroom w/kitchen & family room right on the beach of Lake Huron during the week of the 4th of July. Now that is a fun time with fireworks (never firecrackers tho..they still suk). Watching them being shot off over the water up and down the beach is a wonderful sight. Now and again we will see a Freighter 5-10 miles out on the lake shooting them off too. What is real nice about it is it will not last as long as you think. People will go to bed earlier when playing in the sun & fun all day long....usually pretty darn quiet by 11pm. That is when we will sit/lay outside in the dark on a chase lounge and watch the Milky-Way get brighter and fuller. *sigh* Six months too go for that...

This past year we aquired some A-Hole type neighbors. They didn't make any noise on New Years Eve. I was surprised...they have had loud parties before.
Maybe some of our more established neigbors put a stop to it via the Police force.

They had some nice ones in Times Square on Manhatten Island as usual. When I watch those crowds of people on TV I can't help but think of all the pick-pockets working overtime there.

When I am in New York city...I always carried my wallet in my front pocket.

i like fireworks.

i like fireworks that shoot up into the sky with nice colors and nifty special effects

i don't like fireworks that stay on the ground and go bang.

i like fireworks when the people that bought em also clean up the mess afterwards

and i also like fireworks when they stop working at a respectable time, like 1 am

unfortunately its more often the case that it goes on till 3 am, and those damn kids make fricking bombs of those things that go bang, and shove them under the car.

next year... im packing a baseball bat.

beating the everloving crap out of each other.

I did virtually nothing...played GW until about 10:30 PM, drank a few beers, and went to bed right at midnight. I'm too old for this stuff >.<
